" I am a passion driven tour consultant, because of my love for Mother Nature I decided to study and understand nature better by graduating in Tourism Management (MUK). I have done research on Crocodiles and Aquatic tourism in Buwama Crocodile farm and The development of Cultural Tourism in the Capital area zone and Great Mbarara districts. I have been to almost all tourist attractions in the Capital area zone and some parts of western Uganda.Working with African Secrets Ltd and conducting tours in Uganda and around the great lakes region has given me the opportunity to gain vast experience in sustainable tourism and developing contact and good relationships with tour operators across Uganda and East Africa as a whole.I trust I am more than capable in handling any of the inquiries that a client may have.

I am passionate and serious about what I do, but I do it with an infectious smile. After all, if I don’t enjoy it, what’s the point?

Bwindi’s Inhabitants “The Mountain Gorillas”.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the two National parks in Uganda that are home to the few surviving Mountain Gorillas in the world. This park is called impenetrable because of its very thick nature to the extent that it’s almost impossible to maneuver your way through this tropical rain forest. It’s in this almost impenetrable forest that the mountain Gorilla camp.

The Mountain Gorillas are very gentle creatures that will not tamper if not tampered with. Just like in humans or other animals with prides, schools and territories, the mountain Gorillas also have families. Bwindi as a park is said to be home to 32 Gorilla families namely Mubare, Habinyanja, Rushegura and Nkuringo comprised of about 340 individuals. Just last year another family called Bitukura was launched by UWA ready for visitors to see.
These gorillas some times cross over to Rwanda and Congo.

The tracking/trekking experience of the habituated Gorillas is an exciting yet challenging practice because of Bwindi’s terrain that is hilly and rugged.
