5 DAYS WILDIFE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH & GORILLAS IN BWINDI

Day one : Travel to Queen Elizabeth
Head for Queen Elizabeth via Masaka-Mbarara road making stops at Mpambire and The equator for pictures, refreshments and souvenir shopping. Proceed to Mbarara for lunch and head for the vast and wild filled Queen Elizabeth national park through eye catching tea plantations and same rift valley features. Take an afternoon cruise on the Kazinga channel for solitary Buffaloes, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they quench their thirsty. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls gather here in large flocks.
Retire for the evening and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Jacana Safari Lodge/ Mweya Hostels.

Day Two : Uganda wildlife search
Wake up to an early morning cup of tea/coffee at 6:30 before you embark on a thrilling yet interesting game drive where you may see the nocturnal returning from a long night while others get ready for the day’s activities. Your early morning rise may be rewarded with a view of climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, Kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, warthogs, leopard and many more. Return to lodge for breakfast and later go for an afternoon forest walk in the Maramagambo forest for views of the bat caves, the crater lakes, the blue river and the rest of the wild life in the forest. Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Mweya Hostels/Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day Three
Have a relaxed breakfast, transfer to the gorilla sanctuary through this beautiful mountain scenery referred to as the little Switzerland. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp/ Buhoma Homestead.

Day Four:
After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides. Carry parked lunch, embark on a 30 minutes - 8 hours trek hunting for the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the spot where the gorillas were last seen the previous day. After a quite one hour observing the gorillas, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp/Buhoma Homestead.


Day Five:
After breakfast, drive to Mbarara for lunch at Agip Motel later head for Kampala.
