SAFARI TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

THREE DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK SAFARIS.

Day one: Drive To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Meet and greet at 09:00, drive towards southwestern Uganda making a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for pictures, check out the experiments carried out at the equator, have a snack while looking around in the craft shops and then get back on the journey heading for Masaka. As you get out of Masaka town make a quick stop at Nabajjuzi for a quick look at the swamp and the associated wildlife then head for Mbarara. Have lunch in Mbarara and late in the afternoon continue to Kasese through the vast and eye catching tea plantations and other features like Lake Rutoto and spend a night at Jakana Safari Lodge/ Mweya Safari Lodge/Mweya Hostels.

Day two : Game Viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Game drive in the morning most likely to be rewarded with a view of most fauna getting ready for the day’s activities and the nocturnal retiring from their long nights. You may be able to see animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes, lions, warthogs, leopards and a lot more. Have your late parked breakfast after the game drive and have an afternoon launch cruise at the Kazinga channel where you may see a variety of bird species including Flamingoes and aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos. Go for a forest walk in the big and thick Maramagambo forest the bat cave, crater lakes plus the blue river and call it a day. Dinner and Overnight as above.

Day 3 : Depart For Kampala
Go for an early morning game drive through the park to Lake Katwe for an interesting yet educative tour and on your way back make a stop at the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Depart for Kampala reaching late evening.
