12 Days Nairobi / Kenya / Uganda - East African Safari

Day 1 – Nairobi
our representative will transfer you from Nairobi International Airport to the hotel for overnight in a bed and breakfast basic. BB

Day 2 – Kenya safari to Amboseli NP
Depart Nairobi and drive through the Athi and Kapiti Plains via the Kenya - Tanzania border town of Namanga to reach Amboseli in time for lunch and thereafter, embark on an afternoon game drive of this park famous for its great herds of Elephant and the million dollar view it offers of the  Kilimanjaro Mountain. Dinner and overnight at a Lodge or camping. FB

Day 3 – Amboseli National Park
A full day in Amboseli for two game drives in this game filled park, each drive will take approximately 3 hours and will be an opportunity to see more game and discover more about the wild. All meals and overnight as above. FB

Day 4 – Amboseli – Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast and drive via Nairobi lunch en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this small game & bird-filled Park, famous for its population of flamingoes, rhinos, leopards, lions, giraffes. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight. FB

Day 5 – Kenya tour to Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, carry on across the floor of the Great Rift Valley via the Maasai town of Narok, you will have a chance to observe the rich culture of the Maasi people of Kenya after which you will continue to Maasai Mara National Reserve – to many this park is perceived as the jewel and highlight of the safari expedition. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge or camping for dinner and overnight at  Keecorock Lodge – Mara Serena Lodge – Mara Sopa Lodge or at the tented camp. FB

Day 6 – Maasai Mara National Reserve
A full day in the Maasai Mara with two game drives, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. Each drive will take approximately 3 hours and it may be rewarded with chances to see game like the Buffaloes, antelopes, bush pigs, warthogs, zebras and many other interesting animals. All meals and overnight as above. FB

Day 7 – Maasai  Mara – Nairobi
Go for the last game drive in the Maasai Mara before your return to Nairobi for your continuing flight to Entebbe. Transfer to Kampala for dinner and overnight at the hotel. Holiday Express Holiday/Hotel Africana.FB

Day 8 – uganda tour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, head South to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Make a brief stop at the Equator for pictures and refreshments. Lunch en route as you pass through the famous Great Mbarara region and see Ankole cattle, and typical Ugandan farms and plantations. You will reach Bwindi late evening, Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead. FB

Day 9 – Mountain Gorillas tour
After breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the gorilla tracking in the thick impenetrable forest. Time spent in search for the habituated family is unpredictable, and you will have one hour for observing and taking pictures of these gentle giants. Packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in Lodge. FB

Day 10 – Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast drive through the “Switzerland of Africa”, to the breath taking Lake Bunyonyi. Have lunch before the boat ride, for birding and a visit to the many islands dotted all over this deep lake. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages. FB

Day 11 – Lake Mburo National park
After breakfast drive to Mbarara for a night’s visist to the Lake Mburo National Park. Take an evening game drive in search for the beautiful impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo Camp/Mantana Luxury Tented Camps.

Day 12 - Depart
Go for a boat ride before you finally embark on your journey back to Kampala.
