15 days Tour to Uganda

Day 1
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative and tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel, Holiday Express Hotel, for overnight.

Day 2   Uganda tour to the Rhinos of Ziwa and Murchison Falls
Take a panoramic drive to the northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park. You will be arriving in time for lunch at the spectacular site situated at the top of the falls where you can see the Nile's perfected beauty! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to one km squeezed through a 7 meter canyon dropping 150 meters with a thunderous roar, creating a beautiful rainbow.Enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge. Dinner and over night at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Nile Safari Camp. FB

Day 3: The Boat Cruise on river Nile
Have early breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive in the park where you may be able to see elephants, lion, buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbucks, reedbucks, hyena and if lucky enough, the leopard. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax a bit until after lunch, you will safari upstream by boat to the serene Victoria Nile and the base of the falls just  ten meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’. There you can marvel at the hippos, crocodiles and over the 17 km stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. Birders have a chance to enjoy their hobby as there are many bird species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Uganda tour to Fort Portal at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon
After breakfast drive from Murchison Falls with packed lunch. Head Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro kindgom, passing though the green countryside to the vibrant town of Fort Portal in the shadow of the magnificent Snow peaked Rwenzori Mountain. Dinner and overnight at Nyinabulitwa Country Resort.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National park
Embark on a half day search of chimpanzee and other primates including, l’hoestes, Red-colobus, Red-tailed and Grey-cheeked Mangabey. The walk will be both informative and enjoyable as the guide will provide information not only on the primates but also on other forest flora & fauna. This walk is excellent for bird watching and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, following the mystical Rwenzori mountain range. You will stop at the equator for photographs enroute. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Mweya Hostels/ Hippo Hill Camp.FB

Day 6 : The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
After a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive, expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, plus a lot of small animals and birds. Drive back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy the relaxing and rewarding hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This trip goes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many other animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an outstanding platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is rich with well over 550 resident species. Day 7: Uganad tour to the tree climbing lions of Ishasha sector
Lion hunt today, drive to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth via Maramagambo Forest. Have a game drive in search of the rare tree-climbing lions which you can see only in this area of Uganda. These rare lions get their name from the habit of climbing trees unlike other normal lions. In Queen Elizabeth, they enjoy resting on the fig trees when the day is warm. Lunch. Game drive in the afternoon and dinner and overnight in Savannah Hotel.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
 After breakfast, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Have Lunch on arrival and have the rest of the afternoon in your favor by choosing between a village walk visiting the local community or to the pygmies. Dinner and overnight in Gorilla Resort/ Buhoma Community.FB
 
Day 9: ugadna tour to encounter with mountains gorillas
Wake up and prepare for the unforgettable experience. You will have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before setting off to the forest in search for gorillas. The guide will brief you and at 9:00 am you will set off to the forest for these apes. The time you will take searching these humble apes is unpredictable however it ranges between 2-9 hours depending on their movement. The activity requires you to go through steep rocks climbing up and down making it tiresome, however the thrill of encountering these gentle giants erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma homestead.

Day 10 Uganda tour to the wonderful Lake Bunyonyi
Take breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. An area referred as the "Switzerland of Africa”. Stopover at the Bakiga Museum in Kabale to discover the culture of the Bakiga(natives). Arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Uganda. Have lunch and go enjoy the afternoon boat ride on the lake to various islands for birding and sight seeing. Dinner and overnight in Arcadia Cottages or Jajama Hotel.

Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park   
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest park in Uganda. We shall have lunch in Mbarara and reach the park just in time for an afternoon Boat ride on Lake Mburo where the park gets its name. This boat ride may be rewarded with a glimpse at the Hippos and other aquatic life and avi life for the birders. Relaxingly take an evening guided nature walk before you retire for the day. Dinner and over night at Rwonyo/Mantana tented luxury camp.

Day 12: Lake Mburo/Kampala
Do an early morning game drive for game like the impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi and topis. Leisurely drive back to Kampala with a stop at the Eqautor or Mpambire for pictures, shopping and refreshments. Dinner and over night at Holiday Express.

Day 13: Kampala City Tour.
After your breakfast, take a trip to Uganda's capital city which starts in the morning at 0830hrs after your breakfast and will take you on a tour within and without the greenest city in Africa. You will make brief stops at Kasubi tombs, Makerere University, Uganda Museum, Bahai Temple, the religious hills and the martyr’s shrine. Drive back to the city centre for a stop I African Village for crafts before you return to your hotel.

Day 14: Jinja
After breakfast visit the Source of the Nile on Lake Victoria, and then proceed to the “Bujagali Falls”, to view the stunning rapids on the Nile. (Optional):Try the unforgettable experience of the white water rafting, this can be done full or half day. There is also an option of Quad biking around in the villages. Dinner and over night at Holiday Express Hotel/ Hotel Africana.

Day 15: Departure
You will be transferred to the Airport for your departure depending on the time of your flight.
