Day1 Depart for Lake Mburo National Park
Depart from Kampala by road and head west to Lake Mburo national Park. Have a short stop at the Equator for an informative talk as well as photography. Drive across the equator through Uganda’s rolling hill to Lake Mburo National Park. Have lunch and then take a boat ride on Lake Mburo. After a boat trip on Lake Mburo, you will go for a late afternoon game drive in search of Zebra, Impala, Eland, Topi, Oribi, Cape buffalos, and with luck, roan antelopes, leopards, hyenas and jackals. Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Before dawn you will wake up and then go for a game drive in the park searching for animals like Zebras, Impala, Eland, Topi, Oribi, Cape buffalos and other animals. You will return to your lodge to have break fast before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive to Mbarara for lunch then continue to Bwindi to have an over night at Engagi Lodge/ Gorilla Resort or Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 3: Gorilla expedition in Bwindi:
Early breakfast and thereafter assemble for a briefing on Gorillas by the Park Ranger. After briefing the Park Ranger will lead you into the impenetrable rain forest while informing you about the Flora and Fauna.
Looking deep into the brown eyes of the gentle giants is surely to give you one of the most amazing wildlife encounters of your life. You shall spend an hour with the Gorillas and thereafter have our packed lunch before returning to the lodge. Gorilla trekking is an incredible, inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can't afford to miss.

Day 4: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park:
You will depart early with packed lunch for Queen Elizabeth National Pack. Drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth known as Ishasha, famed for its tree climbing lions. There are chances of seeing buffalo, Topi and hippo among other species. After checking in and having some time to relax, head for an evening game drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a UNESCO World Biosphere and has one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game reserve in the world. In the evening, visit the crater regions. Dinner and overnight stay at Katara Lodge/ Mweya Safari Camp/ Jacana Safari Lodge/ Institute of Ecology.
Day 5: Chimp trekking/ Launch cruise
Up relatively early, you will have breakfast to report to the ranger station to be briefed about the tracking the forest walks and how to behave while with the apes. The walk in search for these great apes will be guided, providing information about chimps, other primates, fauna and flora making it informative and interesting. After tracking the chimps you will drive back to your lodge for a mid morning breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This will expose you to diversity of schools of hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Katara Lodge/ Mweya Safari Camp/ Jacana Safari Lodge/ Institute of Ecology.
Day 6: Game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park
After a brief game drive, have breakfast and depart for Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy game viewing enroute toward Kibale Forest National Park. Take lunch and in the afternoon take a forest hike to explore the Park’s diverse habitats including tropical rainforest, riverine forest, swamp and grass land. You will have a chance to see a wide variety of birds and primates and perhaps also duiker and bushbuck. Dinner and overnight at Primates Lodge/ Ndali Lodge/ Chimps’ Nest.
Day 7: Chimp Trekking
Up relatively early, you will have breakfast and report to the ranger station in Kibale Forest National Park at 08.00am. You will reach the station to be briefed about your trekking trip, the forest walks and how to behave while with the great apes. You will then walk along the different tracks in the forest in groups for these great apes. During the walk you may stop to listen to the call of the chimps to avoid bypassing them. This walk will be guided, providing information about the chimps, other primates, and flora making it informative and interesting. After tracking chimps, you will have lunch and then go for a nature walk to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 8: Hike at the top of the falls.
Drive to Murchison falls National Park. On arrival, Visit the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Red Chillis Camp.
Day 9: Game drive and Launch cruise
After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive to the rolling plains where you have chances of viewing Lions, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Buffalo and Elephant as well as many of the other mammals of the park. For the birders amongst you, these areas support the Secretary Bird, Black Chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Marshal Eagles Carmine and Swallow Tailed Bee-Eaters, to pick just a few. This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savannah down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north to the Sudan.
This afternoon, you will go for a boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap, or down river to the delta where the Nile empties into Lake Albert. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (High end/luxurious accommodation), Sambiya River Lodge (Medium class accommodation) or Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day 10: Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Drive to Masindi and go watch Rhinos and track them. Uganda’s Rhinos became extinct in the early 1980s, after a period of civil unrest and heavy poaching. This sanctuary has now been established to breed black and white rhino, and restore Rhino populations in Uganda’s protected areas in a later stage. Have lunch, and then proceed to Kampala then to Entebbe for your next flight back home.
